The "We Don't Want Them: Race and Housing in Metro Detroit, 1900-1968," is professionally curated by Rozenia Johnson (MDUBA Associates), in collaboration with the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Consisting of historic documents and compelling photographs on freestanding display units and panels, viewers come to understand the insidious effects and causes of segregation and the impact it has on the Metro Detroit community, specifically focusing on the stories of those most impacted by racial spatial segregation. At this time, the exhibition consists of roughly 30 free-standing pieces.
