When they enter the building, they will first see Michigan Roundtable’s renowned mobile photo exhibit on housing discrimination, “We Dont Want Them: Race and Housing in Metro Detroit, 1900-1968.” This powerful exhibit has traveled around the country and viewed by more than 350,000 people.

The exhibit is professionally curated by Rozenia Johnson and is comprised of historic documents and compelling photographs on freestanding display units and panels. Those who have experienced the exhibit derive a deeper understanding of the insidious effects of segregation and its lasting impact on the Metro Detroit community.
